Dallas-based Granite Properties earned a Fitwel certification for its first Houston office building as part of an initiative to pursue the healthy building designation across 20 buildings, totaling 6.7 million square feet across its portfolio.
Fitwel is a global certification system for optimizing building design and operations to support health and wellness. The program builds upon Granite’s Inspire Wellness, a $10 million investment to enhance filtration systems and improve outdoor workspaces across its properties.
