HOUSTON – February 14, 2022 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, announced today that Leasing Manager, Jon Dutton, has been promoted to Director of Leasing. In December, Steve West, Senior Director of Leasing, retired after twenty years at Granite Properties.

In his role, Dutton will be responsible for leading the marketing and leasing of Granite’s 2.3 million square feet Houston portfolio, which include Eldridge in West Houston’s Energy Corridor and Weslayan Tower in Houston’s Inner Loop. Dutton will report Scott Martin, Executive Managing Director.

“The promotion of Jon to Director of Leasing is well-deserved,” said Scott Martin, Executive Managing Director, Granite Properties. “Jon takes over the reins from Steve, and during the past three years, has proven to be a great leader with deep experience in leasing and strong relationships in Houston. Prior to joining Granite in 2019, Dutton was a Director of Leasing at Brookfield Properties where he was responsible for leasing over 2 million square feet of the company’s Houston portfolio. Dutton has been serving on the NAIOP Houston Board of Directors since 2019.

Steve West, who has been with Granite for twenty years, has retired as Senior Director of Leasing.
