Granite Properties To Redevelop Cedar Maple Plaza In Uptown

Granite Properties is set to bring a new mixed-use office-centric development to Uptown Dallas. 

The developer plans to tear down three office buildings at Cedar Maple Plaza in Uptown, replacing them with a 26-floor, 623K SF office tower, two detached buildings with 16K SF for restaurants and an outdoor park.  

The redevelopment project is expected to revitalize a prime Uptown Dallas site at 2323 Cedar Springs. Granite named the new development 23Springs in honor of two historic springs that traversed the property a century ago.

Granite Readies Redevelopment of Uptown Dallas Offices

Granite Properties said Friday it planned to today its plans to redevelop Cedar Maple Plaza in Uptown Dallas and name the project 23Springs. It will include what Granite says will be the largest office building in Uptown.

As part of the redevelopment, Granite will tear down the three existing office buildings on the 2.5-acre site to make way for a 26-floor, 623,624 square feet office tower, two detached buildings totaling 16,000 square feet for restaurants and a half-acre activated park. 

“23Springs is designed with our customers and the community in mind offering an inspiring work environment through modern architecture and amenities,” said Will Hendrickson, senior managing director at Granite.

DALLAS — Granite Properties will redevelop Cedar Maple Plaza, an office complex located at the corner of Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue in Uptown Dallas. 

Granite will rebrand the new 623,624-square-foot mixed-use office property as 23Springs. The locally based developer will demolish three existing buildings on the 2.5-acre site and build a 26-story office tower, two detached buildings that will house 16,000 square feet of restaurant space and a small park.

Plano-based Granite Properties has unveiled new renderings of what will become one of Uptown Dallas’ largest office towers. The project will take nearly three years to complete.

Located at the corner of Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue, across the street from the Crescent, the 26-story building will replace Cedar Maple Plaza.

As part of the redevelopment, Granite Properties will tear down the three existing office buildings on the 2.5-acre site to make way for the 622,624 square-foot office project. The project also will include two detached retail buildings, totaling 16,000 square feet, a half-acre park, and six-and-a-half levels of underground parking.

More details and a clearer timeline have been revealed for one of Uptown Dallas’ largest proposed office towers.

Last week, Plano-based Granite Properties released new information and renderings of its proposed 26-story office tower, 23Springs. 

Located at the corner of Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue, the 623,624-square-foot tower will replace Cedar Maple Plaza, which Granite also owns. The project also will include two detached retail buildings totaling 16,000 square feet, a half-acre park and six-and-a-half levels of underground parking. The detached buildings will be reserved for two restaurant concepts, one fast-casual and one upscale.
