As is the case with most proposed office projects these days, Granite Park’s tallest proposed tower is ready to break ground, but won’t do so until a tenant is secured.
Developer Granite Properties confirmed this on Monday after its 18-story, 415,000-square-foot Granite Park Six project was initially slated to break ground as early as first quarter 2020. It is not clear if the company initially planned to break ground on the project as speculative.
“Our construction documents are complete and we can start anytime,” said Will Hendrickson, senior managing director of Granite Properties. “We’re out marketing the property now and activity has been good. We’ve certainly seen an uptick in inquiries over the last month, and we hope that will continue.”
