Incoming Granite Properties CEO pushes ‘experiential real estate’ amid lingering office concerns

Growing through developments and property acquisitions will be the focus of the new CEO of one of North Texas’ busiest commercial real estate companies when he takes the helm next month amid a daunting market.
Will Hendrickson will become chief executive of Granite Properties Inc. on Jan. 1, a transition announced in October by the Dallas-based commercial real estate investment, development and management firm. Michael Dardick, Granite’s founding partner and CEO, will transition to executive chairman.
Granite Properties, a 32-year-old company, is one of the most active developers in North Texas.
