In 2018, Nashville’s growth-and-development scene continued on an explosive continuum — and is expected to remain robust in 2019.
Consider that by 2018’s end, 15 buildings of at least 10 floors (or a minimum of about 100 feet tall) were under construction. For 2019, the Scene estimates ground will be broken on at least 10 buildings of that floor count or more. In addition, no fewer than 10 others of that minimum size could see full-scale work begin. And the wildcard in the mix — the 750-foot-tall, 65-story luxury residential skyscraper Paramount — would offer a bold punctuation mark to 2019 were its groundbreaking to commence (not a far-fetched scenario).
