DALLAS – October 26, 2022 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development, and management company, and Highwoods Properties, a publicly-traded (NYSE:HIW) real estate investment trust (“REIT”), today announced the topping out of Granite Park Six. The 19-story, 422,109 square feet Class-AA office building is the seventh office development in Granite Park, Granite’s 90-acre mixed-use development in Plano, TX. Granite Park caters to the modern workforce with high quality workspace, amenities, and a walkable urban experience.

Granite Park Six is designed by BOKA Powell with modern interiors by HKS Architects. General contractor, Austin Commercial, kicked off construction in December 2021, and is on schedule to deliver the building in Q3 2023.

Granite Park Six is designed for Fitwel and LEED certifications. Its amenities will be accessible to everyone working in Granite Park, and are focused on fostering community, collaboration and productivity. They include:

  • A sixth-floor amenity terrace connecting to a fitness studio offering group classes, indoor customer lounge and golf simulator.
  • A two-story lobby with market café.
  • A 150-seat lecture hall offering theater-style seating along with three conference rooms.
  • Destination dispatch elevator system.
  • Clean air technology in the building’s HVAC system.
  • Touch free entry doors and touch free fixtures in restrooms.
  • Six-story parking garage.

Granite Park, a master-planned mixed-use development by Granite, is located at the southeast corner of State Highway 121 and the Dallas North Tollway. It provides convenient access to residential communities and a 20-minute ride to DFW Airport. Granite Park One – Five are 94 percent leased. The landscaped business park offers 2.3 million square feet of Class-A office space, shops and restaurants, including waterfront restaurants with patios situated on The Boardwalk at Granite Park, and a 299-room Hilton Hotel.

Highwoods is Granite’s joint venture equity partner for Granite Park Six. Current Granite Park Three customer, Stonebriar Commercial Finance, will move their headquarters to Granite Park Six in Q4 2023.
