DALLAS – September 26, 2022 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development, and management company, today announced the topping out of Granite Place II at Southlake Town Square. in Southlake, TX The Class-AA, 5-story, 143,500 square feet office building is the second phase of Granite’s Southlake Town Square development. It is being built adjacent to Granite Place I, which is 100 percent leased.

“Granite is excited to reach this major milestone and see Granite Place II come to life,” said Will Hendrickson, Senior Managing Director, Granite Properties. “Granite Place II will offer customers a Class-AA workspace steps from Southlake Town Square’s numerous amenities. The building continues to see strong interest from prospective customers,” he added.

General contractor, DPR Construction, kicked off construction on Granite Place II in May 2022. They are on schedule to deliver the building in Q1 2023.

The modern building is designed by Corgan.

The design of the building incorporates a modern aesthetic integrating the Southlake vernacular and visually connecting with Granite Place I,” said Joe Haver, Principal, Corgan.

Granite Place II will provide amenities designed for the modern workforce, inclusive of:

  • Outdoor work and meeting space
  • Corporate living room
  • Fitness center
  • Grab-and-go food service
  • Floor to ceiling windows
  • Touch free entry doors and touch free fixtures in restrooms
  • Clean air technology in the building’s HVAC system
  • Covered parking
  • Designed to achieve LEED and Fitwel certifications

Upon completion, Granite will also deliver Ready Suites ranging from 1,900 – 3,300 square feet. Ready Suites are Granite’s move-in ready workspaces available for a short-term (1-5 years). The suites are built out and offer full access to Granite Place II amenities.

Located at 601 State Street, Granite Place II provides direct ingress/egress to East Highway 114. The office building is at Southlake Town Square, offering more than 120 shops, dozens of restaurants, luxury townhomes and condominiums, a Hilton hotel, and EVO Entertainment.

N5B Capital is Granite’s joint venture equity partner for Granite Place II, and will relocate their headquarters to the building. Granite’s leasing team Robert Jimenez, Burson Holman and Elizabeth Fortado, is leasing Granite Place II.
