Dallas, TX – April 12, 2018 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, announced today that the company has won two Dallas Business Journal Best Real Estate Deals Awards. Factory Six03, the adaptive reuse of an historic warehouse into a modern, creative workspace, won for Best Rehab Project, and Granite Place at Southlake Town Square, an upscale office building, won for Best Suburban Office.

“This recognition comes on the heels of winning a D CEO award for Factory Six03 and we’re thrilled that the redevelopment is now also recognized by the Dallas Business Journal for Best Rehab Project,” said Will Hendrickson, Managing Director, Granite Properties. “We’re equally excited that Granite Place at Southlake Town Square won Best Suburban Office. Winning both these awards reflects the quality and diversity of our work, ranging from an adaptive reuse in an urban environment to an upscale office space in a suburban area, and I’m proud to work with such a talented and versatile team,” he added.

Factory Six03 offers an eight-story, 215,000 square foot of creative office space in the heart of Downtown Dallas. Contrasting the old with the new, it’s a profound redevelopment because historic buildings of this size and scale are rare in Dallas. The innovative space features a community lobby with coffee lounge, top floor conference center, lounge and patio called “The Stack,” terraces with views of Dallas and underground executive parking. The building is designed to appeal to creative users and is located in the emerging West End where the Dallas Innovation Alliance has started implementing a number of smart city initiatives. Granite partnered with Dallas-based architect GFF, historic preservation architect Architexas, general contractor DPR Construction and landscape architect Mesa Design Group to redevelop Factory Six03.

Granite Place at Southlake Town Square is the first Class-A building in Southlake, Texas. It offers a six-story, 158,000 square foot, office space with a corporate living room, large conference room and training center with a pre-function area and a kitchen. Rich in amenities, it’s located adjacent to Southlake Town Square, an open-air, upscale shopping district with more than 120 shops and dozens of restaurants. Granite partnered with Beck Architecture and general contractor Ridgemont Construction to develop the building.
